Our Common “ABC”

“A substantial part of the choreography evolved from our research into shared physical memories and experiences that we call home. We tried to figure out what is our common “ABC”; the basics of those notions that exist already in our body and movements.” Interview with Lior Lazarof & Chen Nadler about their new piece “ABC and the study of stars” After a long time when … Our Common “ABC” részletei…

Ecsettel a Balatonnál – Az első The Talent festőtábor Zánkán

That is the case with “Subsurface”.  Nonchalantly, Casually, They start filling the stage. One by one, With intervals enough, To casually change their outfit. To transform into dancers And start. One by one, Heading to … #tellyourstory // Subsurface részletei…

ACTIVE SPECTATORS PROGRAMMING_3

Being active can only happen offline? Maybe not. This fact was proved by our last active spectators programming, which we decided to manage online, in the facebook group of active spectators. The idea and aim did not change: vote together those performances which to be invited in Bakelit, however it was something different from our previous programmings. The criteria was not so strict as before, … ACTIVE SPECTATORS PROGRAMMING_3 részletei…

#tellyourstory // Three months’ memory

Paula Castro Suarez arrives to Bakelit Multi Art Center in the middle of September. The Columbian multimedia intern spents here three months, makes new memories, attends international and Hungarian performances and rehearsals, and before leaving, she collects her best moments together. What you can see below is her selection of three months’ best moments. She is a very talented and creative photographer and video editor, who is able to capture intense and impressive moments in a way if she had the opportunity to enter deeply the show itself or performers’ state. Let her pictures impress you as well, and probably you will be able to catch something in the performances even if you haven’t seen them. Enjoy:

[the pictures were taken from October to December in Bakelit Multi Art Center]
